Language
There
are no ideas or thoughts of any kind that cannot be coherently
expressed in language. For an idea or thought can exist only in
language, or, at the bare minimum, in objects and symbols that are able
to adequately perform a language function. Language is absolutely
necessary in order to form coherent thoughts and ideas, that is, genuine
thoughts and ideas. Thus, the more limited one is linguistically, the
more limited cognitively. A person's power, precision, depth, and
breadth of thought is largely dependent on his skill in language,
grammar, and his mastery of vocabulary.
